Downtown | Lotterleben | Frauenstr. | U/S-Bahn Marienplatz
New restaurant located in the former Wienerwald. Due to its location at the edge of the Viktualienmarkt, not purely gay. One can have a look at the activities on the market through the large windows.
Downtown | Moro | Müllerstr. 30 | Phone 23002992 Fax 23002994 | 11.a.m.- 1 a.m. | U-Bahn Sendlinger Tor/Frauenhoferstr. | Sunday Brunch 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
New restaurant (with seperate room) right in the gay center of Munich. Large bar and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunatelly not very cheap and a poor brunch-buffet on Sundays.
Lehel | Tattenbach | Tattenbachestr. 6 | T. 225268 | U-Bahn 4+5 Lehel |Open Mo-Th from 5 p.m. Fr+Sa from 7 p.m.
One can sit outside on the calm sidewalk in front of the restaurant until 11 p.m.. Easy to reach with a short walk after the sun-bath in the Englischer Garten.
Downtown | Bistro Deutsche Eiche | Reichenbachstr.13 | U-Bahn Fraunhofer Str. | Phone 231166-0
Through the wall-high mirrors the Deutsche Eiche looks larger than it is indeed. Perhaps thus one does not avoid the bistro-charakter, the cooking however cannot conceal. Particularily problematic if one wants to eat after 10 p.m. and no warm meal is left, although the place will not close before midnight. In this case, one rather should visit the bath house of the Deutsche Eiche which is located in the same building.
